Adams on the "Devastate" Video

"I thought that filming myself playing all the parts would be difficult enough — and frankly, it was. But then I had to go and make things harder on myself by making it a CGI production. I had to create the spaceships, the asteroids, the computer room, and other items in the video, including the material on the computer screens."

"It was quite the learning experience, and several months later, I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Next time, though, I will pay someone else to do it for me."

From the LP "Public Service Announcement," this video for the Proper Authorities' song "The Ninth Life Jitters" puts you in the front seat of a surreal cat-and-mouse game that takes place in a long, dark, and nightmarish corridor. What lies at the end of the chase? Watch and find out.

As in his previous video for the song "Devastate," Keith Adams' newest self-created piece features a combination of CGI animation and live performance. This atmospheric and frenetic environment provides the perfect visual complement to the song's themes of mortal fears and the consequence of reckless abandon.

This self-produced, sci-fi hybrid of CGI animation and live action features five holograms of Adams performing, an Earth-threatening group of incoming asteroids, and a spaceship fitted with an enormous sound system.
