Adams on the "Ninth Life Jitters" Video
"As tough as making the 'Devastate' video turned
out to be, it didn't totally sour me on the process as much as I had expected. I
knew I wanted to try something moodier and less story-intensive, and musically, 'The
Ninth Life Jitters' was full of prime thematic material for the cause."
"I also had to include some virtual actors, because I figured no one needed to see
another multi-Keith video, and more importantly, I needed someone to get chased. Someone
other than me. I've never been much of a runner, myself."
"The Ninth Life Jitters"
From the LP "Public Service Announcement," this video for the Proper Authorities' song "The Ninth Life Jitters" puts you in the front seat of a surreal cat-and-mouse game that takes place in a long, dark, and nightmarish corridor. What lies at the end of the chase? Watch and find out.
As in his previous video for the song "Devastate," Keith Adams' newest self-created piece features a combination of CGI animation and live performance. This atmospheric and frenetic environment provides the perfect visual complement to the song's themes of mortal fears and the consequence of reckless abandon.
